MESCI Students

Jatindar Kumar

I am Jatindar Kumar, an accomplished HR Manager with a proven track record of developing and implementing talent-focused HR strategies. I excel in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and HR compliance. My expertise includes building strong cross-functional partnerships to enhance overall organizational performance.

Currently, I hold a pivotal role as the Manager of HR at a Fin-tech startup, where I play a leading role in the Human Resource department. My professional experience spans various industries, including the automobile sector, energy sector, research & development, international non-government organizations, and a professional degree awarding institute.

I earned my Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro—one of the oldest public universities founded by Sir Allama I.I Kazi and Ms. Elsa Kazi.

I opted for the MESCI programme because of its relevance to my previous studies and current practices. During my professional tenure, I undertook a women empowerment project, requiring extensive data collection and analysis. To navigate this, I received assistance, sparking my interest in further education to deepen my understanding of data analysis and statistic.

The prospect of participating in internships with renowned organizations such as FAO and other United Nations entities through this program was an additional factor that drew me in, motivating me to delve deeper into comprehending global needs, economic development, and coordination.

My choice of Europe for this study is rooted in my realization at the University of Sindh, where I experienced and learned the dedication of individuals like Ms. Elsa Kazi (educationist) and Dr. Routh Pfau (health) from Europe who came to Pakistan to contribute to education and improve human life through health and education. Inspired by their efforts, I aspire to reciprocate by dedicating my hard work, commitment, and research if given an opportunity in Europe.
