My name is Philip Majiga. I am from Malawi, the Warm Heart of Africa. I graduated from the University of Malawi in 2010 with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. This four year progamme aims to equip students with knowledge, skills and understanding of the business environment to be able to work in commercial, non-government as well as governmental organizations. In 2011 I joined The Malawi Ministry of Finance as a Budget Officer. My work demands the highest degree of attention to detail, hard work, analytical and interpersonal skills. I decided to enroll for MESCI expecting to be fully equipped with adequate knowledge and skills and sufficiently developed powers of reasoning, analysis and expression to be able to play a key role in the public finance and economic management and service reform processes Malawi Government is implementing aimed at improving efficiency in public service delivery.
