My name is Laraba Martha Sambe from Nigeria. I graduated with a B.A in Economics from the American University of Nigeria in 2011. Since then I have been fortunate to work for the Economic Section of the American Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria's capital, and afterwards a Nigerian based NGO which introduced me to development work. I chose to study at MESCI because the program seemed practical, but also the promise of an opportunity to learn with international organizations was appealing. My hopes and dreams are to successfully complete the masters program, and launch a rewarding career in development.
