PISKIN Burak
I was born in Denizli, Southern Aegean Region of Turkey. I graduated from Izmir University of Economics where I studied International Trade and Finance and Business Administration. I worked in retail sector and I volunteered for a NGO during my undergraduate studies. After my graduation, I worked for Eastern Anatolia Development Agency in Turkey and I gained significant experience regarding regional development and planning, program and project management. I studied "Urban Development and International Cooperation" at the Technical University of Darmstadt as a part of two-year long masters program called Mundus Urbano. As the second year of the program, I currently am specialising in "Development Economics" at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. I must underline that place marketing, local products, urban transformation and their economical impacts are amongst my favourite topics and I have a keen interest in international development projects because I firmly believe this field would enable me to utilise all of my skills and competencies. Subsequent to my graduation, I am therefore aiming to challenge myself with one of them within an international development organisation.
