GATTO Andrea
My name is Andrea Gatto and I come from Naples, Italy. I have a magna cum laude M.Sc. in Economics and a Master in European Project Planning and Management. I also participated to a Politics Spring School in European Studies. As fellow for the National Science Council of Taiwan and Università Federico II, and visiting researcher for the Italian Research Ministry in Brazil, I have written and published papers in Applied Economics, concerning the development programs in Latin America, Eastern Asia and Southern Italy. Furthermore, I wrote about business clusters, CSR, commons, land grabbing, constitutionalism and micro-credit. I also attended inter-governmental, non-governmental, and academic conferences as a lecturer, manager, and auditor (UN, UN-Habitat, Slow Food, Amnesty, Aiesec). I have held management positions in NGOs and firms in Italy, U.K., France, and Tunisia (during the Arab Spring). Trainee bookkeeper and auditor, I am also a co-founder and the director of the Italian Institute for the Future. I speak English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. I have studied Polish and Mandarin Chinese.
