Bridging Skills for Sustainable, Ecological and Digital Transformation

Alumni 2013/2014

ALONZO Chiara

I am 25 years old and I come from Rome. I studied Languages for International Communication at Lumsa University, where I completed my Bachelor and Master’s Degree with first class honours. I am keen on Linguistics, but in the last few years my interests gradually moved towards Human Development and International Cooperation, especially in South American rural areas. I first approached these fields thanks to some optional subjects and then I made deeper studies in my final dissertation. In the meanwhile, my professional experience went in the same course. In fact, during my Master’s Degree I did an internship in a Spanish NGO working in the field of international cooperation in Latin America. Afterwards, I also collaborated with the Italian Section of “Amnesty International”. These experiences sharpened my desire to continue in this field but I need to acquire the analytic competencies and assets my humanistic studies didn’t provide. Therefore, I decided to undertake the Mesci in order to give my studies a worthwhile economic profile, helping me to pursue my goal of becoming a skilled resource in Development Economics and International Cooperation.
