I am 25 years old from Valledupar, Colombia. After studying one year French and English in Canada, I moved to the United States and obtained a bachelor degree in Food and Resource Economics in the University of Florida. I had the opportunity to study part of my program in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As a result I gained a real dimension of developing countries. I worked as a volunteer supervisor and fundraiser for two orphanage, which encouraged me to pursue a career in international cooperation and development economics.
