LIM Hui Ling
I worked as a professional urban planner in Singapore, where my job and projects involved development controls in conservation and urban design, planning reviews and the place management and marketing of the city to local and international audiences. My academic background is multi-disciplinary. I studied Political Sciences at Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po), France, European Studies at National University of Singapore, and International Cooperation and Urban Development at Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany. I am interested in the relationships between people and urban spaces and places, including urban cultural industries, migration and global cities. During my year in the MESCI programme at Tor Vergata, Rome, I am looking to develop analytical methods and tools in Economics to understand global development issues better.
