I graduated from Passau University with a BA degree in European Studies, focusing on economics, international politics and languages. During my employment with the EU Affairs Office, I was involved in the implementation of EU funded projects and I was responsible for the international correspondence with clients (IT, FR, ENG, DT). In the course of my work experience at BMW Italia, I expand my knowledge in the field of finance analysis, cost-effectiveness and controlling, whereas lately I was working in for the UN agency, IFAD. Especially this experience has shown me that I want to pursue a career in the development sector. I feel sure that the MESCI programme will provide me with the necessary theoretical and practical background in order to gain more knowledge in this field and to eventually be able to supervise international development projects for International Organisations. But above all, I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know the 2010 MESCI students, coming from all over the world.
