CURCETTI Valentina
Born in Foggia, I graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of “L’Orientale” in Naples. I spent one year in Paris as an Erasmus student and almost six months between Sydney and the UK, so I can speak French fluently while I keep improving my English day by day. I’ve been part of a multidisciplinary research project for two years held at the Centro per la Riforma dello Stato in Rome about the effect of globalization and world competitiveness on labour and trade unions. In the future, I wish to focus either my professional career or my future research on decent work, employment creation and labour relations and regulation, crucial issues for eradicating poverty, inequality and social exclusion. The Mesci program is quickly plugging my economic and quantitative gaps, while enhancing my knowledge about the leading themes and challenges of development theories and practices. I really hope I will soon be able to put into practice all I’ve been learning since the beginning of the course.
