My name is Guillermo Takano, I am 29 years old and I am an architect. I am Peruvian and I lived in Lima for my whole life before moving to Darmstadt-Germany and now Rome!
I worked for the last years for the Urban Program from the Center for the Studies and development promotion, an NGO that has been working for more than 40 years. As well as its rural programs, the Urban Program tries to get involved in many process concerning the improvement of the poorest people situation.
I had been working specifically in the Urban Observatory which has three main lines: Political and academic lobbying, Applied research and GIS system providing for decision makers and community based organizations.
