Maria Gabriella Bregliaisresearcher at the Fundamentals Branch (ILO) and a research fellow at the Italian Centre for International Development (ICID–University of Rome Tor Vergata).

She received a BA in Political Sciences from the University of Turin and a Master's in International Economics and Development Cooperation from the Centre for Economic and International Studies (CEIS) of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Her research focuses on child labor and forced labor at the global and national levels. It aims at identifying a comprehensive response to these phenomena based on rigorous evidence. Her research involves reinforcing the capacity of national counterparts in developing research on child labor and forced labor, aiming at ensuring the sustainability of research efforts
