Jason Siwat, 35 years old, from Madang Province, Papua New Guinea (PNG). I have 9 years professional experience working in the humanitarian protection space, particularly with migrants and refugees, internally displaced persons (IDP), and human trafficking.I worked in the public sector, the private sector and also now in the NGO sector. I am currently the Director for the Desk for Migrants and Refugees in the Catholic Bishops Conference of PNG and Solomon Islands, based in Port Moresby. I am also a member of the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) Governing Committee, representing the Oceania region. I have a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Papua New Guinea. My area of interest is national development through enhanced and humanane border and migration management.
