Bridging Skills for Sustainable, Ecological and Digital Transformation

MESCI Students

Sattin Edoardo

I reached out MESCI Program through an accurate selection of II level Masters which I felt would have provided me with some concrete value fitting my job and interests. Indeed, I have been working at the European Central Bank for two years now and, by attending the master, my intention is to strengthen and complete my academic background in international economics and analysis with a deep dive into the most relevant global themes such as sustainability, financial integration and international cooperation. The program of the course will be helpful to elaborate models and to support decision-making given the current environment characterised by a high degree of geopolitical risk and other global challenges (i.e. trade tensions, migration, climate change). Furthermore, for the evolution of my future career, I would not exclude the possibility of moving to another EU or a UN institution and I believe that with this program I can develop the necessary tools for this change, for example to work in a development bank. Finally, the program will also represent an opportunity to establish a network with the Professors and the other students for future research collaborations.
