MESCI Students

Demari Cecilia

Hello! My name is Cecilia, I am 26 years old and I graduated in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Rome La Sapienza. After my bachelor’s degree, I continued my studies specializing in European Studies. I have always had the goal of working in an international organization in order to be able to contribute to causes that I deeply share and operate in a multicultural environment. During my high school years, I lived two years in Germany and, thanks to this experience, I undertook this path of study, enriching my understanding of cultures and the importance of always leaving the comfort zone. Thanks to the Erasmus program I lived four months in Vienna, further increasing the study of German and English. During my studies I did a six-month internship at a company that dealt with analyzing the political and economic situation of some areas of the African continent, experience that taught me teamwork and that has enriched me greatly. I chose MESCI because it addresses issues that I wanted to deepen, especially following the experience of volunteering in Uganda with AFRON (a non-profit organisation). Being part of this Master is the culmination of my studies and a great opportunity to achieve my professional goals!
