Biancardi Anna
Hello to everyone!
My name is Anna Biancardi, I am 26 years old and I come from Italy. I consider myself to be enthusiastic, energetic and hard working.
I graduated in March 2023 with a Master's degree in law from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). During my university years as an active member of ELSA (“The European Law Students’ Association”), I organised many events related to discrimination, diversity and the defence of human rights.
After graduation I volunteered in Malawi for two NGOs called "Anna per il Malawi" and the "CCC Trust" (Chifundo, Chilungamo, Chitukuko Trust). The projects concentrated on the reduction of poverty and prison rehabilitation. The experience was extremely constructive, intense and enriching. As a result, I became more aware of my course of action.
I also worked as an intern in a firm specialising in International law and Immigration law.
In the future it would be an honour to develop humanitarian projects and work with international institutions, agencies and NGOs. One day I would like to be part of a project that responds to crises and that works with communities to improve their living conditions.
I am very glad to have had the opportunity to join this Master's course. I hope it will prepare me for work in the field of international cooperation. I would like to achieve the theoretical knowledge, and in particular practical skills, to make a positive impact in this world. By acquiring the necessary economic development abilities, my ambition is to address topics such as poverty, discrimination, child labour, migration (...).
I hope to start my career path in this field that I care so passionately about.
