ORRU VALENTINA
After finishing the master I did a 3-month internship at the Economic Recovery and Poverty Alleviation Cluster with UNDP Iraq Country Office in Jordan. Once completed the internship I worked as information analyst for the UNAMI-Joint Analysis Unit, covering several development subjects such as poverty, gender equality, environmental sustainability, food security, internal displacement, and MDGs. Since June 2014 I work as programme analyst at the UN Resident Coordinator Office- Iraq. MESCI gave me the right preparation and tools to work in the field of development. MESCI is the right master if you are strongly motivated in working on development cooperation. Since October 2015 I work as policy analyst at the OECD, supporting the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation. Furthermore, the chance to study with students from all over the world in the "eternal city" is for sure a great experience.
Good luck to the new students!
