HORMAZÁBAL LAMA RODRIGO

Rodrigo is an economist with a Master's Degree in Economic Development and International Cooperation from the Universita’ degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata and more than 12 years' experience in the field. He has worked with cooperation agencies such as the GIZ and various international NGOs as a country field representative and project director. He specializes in private sector development, rural development and decentralization and development of the public sector. He has done work related to strengthening public-private partnerships, developing and promoting clusters, analysis of value chains, identification, design, monitoring and evaluation of local development projects, participatory planning and various methodologies to drive and develop local economies. He has also developed and implemented skill-based staff selection and training models, as well as teaching activities. He has professional experience in Spain, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Guinea Bissau, Angola, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh and the Philippines.
