Bridging Skills for Sustainable, Ecological and Digital Transformation

Alumni Voices

SALUSTRI FRANCESCO

After having completed MESCI, I decided to strengthen my economic skills with a research master in Economics at TSE, Toulouse. The MESCI program together with my experience at TSE led me to pursue a PhD in Economics at Tor Vergata, Rome.

My research focuses on the Vote with the Wallet, that is how individuals as consumers and investors may influence sustainable firms' policies. During my PhD, I had the opportunity to spend a six-month visiting research period at SOAS, London. In London, I am also serving as research assistant at LSE, working on Happiness and Behavioural Economics.

I am convinced that MESCI played a crucial role in directing my academic work — it helped me discover extremely fascinating and interdisciplinary approaches to Economics, as well as the intersection between academic research, real economy, and international projects.
