I am Nazanin Barekzai From Afghanistan.II have a Masters degree in South Asian studies and human rights from the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute of South Asia Regional Cooperation at Pondicherry Central University, Pondicherry, India. In addition, I have presented various research papers on women in different areas as well as several international seminars on regional connectivity, regional cooperation, border security and bilateral relations. . I have attended Trainings on topicssuch as Research , leadership, Monitoring ,Gender ,Project Management and first aid .

Concerning work experiences, I gained my first international experience through my two years experience with BRAC in Afghanistan (Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee). During this period of time I worked as a Research Associate and I was working on girls' education. In addition, I was the safeguarding focal point. In that role, I advised and supported the staff, volunteers, and partners in implementing the safeguarding policies. I was carrying out risk assessments, or supporting others in completing them, when required. I was also acting as the first point of contact if incidents of abuse arise, and Iwas working for gender equality and human rights .

 The combination of my work experience and academic background, especially my second Master degree, has motivated me to apply for this program This course will help me achieve my goals, become a professional in the field  Cooperation and development , and contribute to helping my people back home.
