Musacchia Gabriele
My name is Gabriele Musacchia and I am from Palermo. After finishing high school in classical studies, I continued my education in the humanities, more specifically socio-political subjects. In fact, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations at my city's university and then a Master's degree in International Relations, with a specific focus on international trade. I developed a great interest in economic issues late in my studies, and during the course of these I did both dissertations on topics related to central banks and their relationship and functioning with state governments, a topic that is as topical as ever.
Furthermore, during the course of my studies, having carried out internships with local public administrations, and later with Sicindustria (a union of Sicilian industries), I was able to see the potential but also the weaknesses on both the public and private sides in a region with serious delays in its economic and above all social development. I chose MESCI because it allows those who do not have an economic or mathematical background to be able to acquire the appropriate skills in order to be able to delve deeper into issues related to the economy and its repercussions on everyday life. Thanks to the non-exclusivity of those who are addressed by the master's course, I can enrich my stock of knowledge and experience from those who come from different educational and life paths, with the hope, in the end, of being able to put all this to good use in the course of a future career and put it at the service of the community in which I will work.
