MOLINARI Marta

Hi, my name is Marta! I am a 25 years-old young lady born and raised in Rome, recently graduate in Development and International Cooperation Sciences at Sapienza University. Thanks to this course, I improved my abilities in various fields. I have often professionally interfaced with my professors, learning from them and treasuring their counsel. Last year,I decided to participate to an exchange program for a semester at UNDAV University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There I attended five post graduate courses and I have travelled all around South America, discovering its immensetreasures.

I then decided to continue the path started with my bachelor’s degree thesis on Resilience and Natural Disaster by analysing, for my master’s dissertation: the impact Covid-19 emergency will have on Italian citizens’ long-term resilience. In order to achieve the task, I decided to analyse a new resilience index of measurement, the Subjective Self-Evaluated Resilience Score (SERS). While working on this project, I realised how many gaps I had in quantitative research methods and how important it was for me to fulfil them in order to pursue the career I aspired to.I can therefore state I decided to enroll in MESCI programme because of a personal keen interest in pursuing humanitarian missions. I firmly believe that this occasion will represent the perfect synthesis among my values, my working ambitions, and my academic background.
