The intersection between my path of studies and my personal believes has prompted me to apply to the Master MESCI. My interest in understanding global trends affecting society and our daily life, going beyond simplistic explanations and observations, has always influenced my choices of studies.
Both in the BSc in International Political Economy at City, University of London and in my Master's in Global Governance and Ethics at UCL, I have had the chance to analyse the continuously changing relationship between states and the economy and how these in turn affect international dynamics, where multiple actors both governmental and non-governmental, play crucial roles in shaping trajectories and constraining influence.
I regard attending the Master MESCI as a precious opportunity to be taught by experts in the field about the economic, social and political aspects of the world community. This will also be an occasion to expand my knowledge in relation to these matters previously covered in my studies. Considering my ambition to work in a global institution, I am confident that MESCI constitutes the perfect environment for me to acquire the necessary skills to reach this future professional aspiration.
