Hello everyone! My name is Kathryn Michelle Caprioli and I come from a small town in the outskirts of Rome. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Cultures and a Master’s degree obtained in Belgium in International relations, with a specialty in peace security and conflict studies. After finishing my studies, I gained experience in refugee and asylum seekers protection, working as a legal assistance in Ecuador, as a Protection Officer in Tunisia and a Caseworker in Italy.

In the last two years, I also acquired knowledge in project and grant writing and at present, I am working part time as assistant to PR and Press Office Manager for an Italian NGO.

I decided to enrol in this program because I felt ready to start a new academic adventure and expand my knowledge in project management and development economic analysis, through which I would like to land in a position as a knowledgeable and creative professional in the international cooperation sector. My dream would be to combine my passion for social protection of refugees and migrants and for project development, finding innovative, inclusive and sustainable actions to promote a community of mutual understanding, tolerance and collective growth.
