My name is Aya Sakai and I'm from Rome. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from The University of Tokyo, Japan and a Master's Degree in Agricultural Development Economics from University of Reading, UK. After graduation I worked in a Japanese business consulting company, specializing in sustainability and CSR and  then I worked in the environment and society department of an outdoor apparel company. I have a huge passion for agriculture, environment and public-private partnerships and I hope the experience at MESCI will help me to pursuit my dream to make a change in these sectors.
