Hi! I am Yukari, a “glomad” who has been away from school for a decade. However, my drive, determination and passion to achieve what I truly want in my life have been unstoppable!  I do not have any academic background in economics/mathematics, but I assume that our ultimate goals are pretty much the same - to bring a positive change in society and make the world a better place!
I am particularly interested in refugee issues (in terms of providing security and protection) and equal educational opportunities (quality education for ALL, despite income inequality). Considering my background as an event coordinator for international trade shows and conferences, understanding the development in economic perspective would be certainly challenging, but I believe that  MESCI would help me acquire quantative research skills and theoretical knowledge needed to analyse poverty and inequality. I hope that studying at MESCI would be a life-changing experience and a passport to secure a dream job in international organisations.
