MARTINEZ MONZON Mariangela Nathalia
Mariangela Martínez Monzón, architect, born in Asuncion, raised within the area of the tri-border along the junction of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. She holds a bachelor in Architecture and Urbanism in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. She worked as a junior architect in several architecture studios focused on commercial and residential architecture and afterwards in maintenance and office renovations at a bi-national hydroelectric dam. In 2019, she joined the MESCI program as a part of the dual-degree program MUNDUS URBANO “International Cooperation and Urban Development”. After spending the 1st year at the Architecture Department of Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany, she decided to focus her studies on Development Economics and International Cooperation and continue the second year in the University of Tor Vergata.
She’s interested in issues like sustainable development, poverty relief, globalization and international cooperation.
