My name is Gioemi and I'm from Italy. Since I was a child I had always been interested in different cultures, economies and development and I was interested in the African one above else. I started volunteering when I was 20 in an association called "AVIS" (Association Volunteers Italian Blood) because I think I'm satisfied when I know I'm helping someone else. In the last few years I started to study Economic Development and for this reason I decided to write a research thesis about female entrepreneurship in advanced, emerging and developing countries. I graduated in Economics in University of Rome and to continue my interests and my studies I decided to take part of MESCI.
