My name is Deirdre da Silva, I am from Swaziland.  I did my undergraduate education in communications and public relations in New York, where I worked in the same field for two years before deciding to continue with my education. Being from a developing country  I am very passionate about international development and giving a voice to those who don’t have one, and this is what inspired me to join the MESCI program.
