After completing my bachelor's degree in Singapore, I made the decision to join MESCI largely due in part to stints volunteering abroad in least developed countries and projects that I had undertaken as a student. MESCI was an avenue for further specialisation in the field of development economics, and this was very much in line with a career trajectory that I had envisioned for myself. Prior to undergoing this course, I have had experience working in a large German engineering company, a consulting firm and in various financial institutions.
