KABIR Mohammad Rasel
I am happy to introduce myself as an Urban Planning & Development Practitioner from Bangladesh. I am a graduate in Urban & Regional Planning and have another MSc. in Management of Technology. I have some hand-on experiences to prepare infrastructural development plans for different small and medium towns in my country. I have skills in GIS mapping, research, documentation, report writing, project proposal writing, and monitoring and evaluations projects. Very recently, I worked at few donor-funded projects whereas, the first one was for developing a self-sustain local governance system and second one was for preparing a regional development plan in the north-eastern part of Bangladesh. Apart from that, I do free-lance consultancy practices in transportation, environmental, and residential development sectors. I also extended my professional interest by holding an honorary position in the Executive Board of Bangladesh Institute of Planners as a Board Member (Academic Affairs) for two consecutive terms. Apart from these professional achievements, sometimes, I work as an activist and I am involved with some voluntary organizations.
