I am from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I studied Architecture in my bachelor and right after graduation I joined governmental academic institution and worked as an assistant lecturer and member of administrative body for the department of Architecture. In addition to the academics, I worked on some architectural projects majorly on building design and to some extent on urban planning. Moreover, I have participated on many voluntary services with different NGOs and that is when I became interested in development issues. This and the situation in my country motivated me highly to study International co-operation in Urban development in Tu- Darmstadt, Germany. Now, being part of MESCI, I seek to understand the core problems and sustainable solutions for the economic challenges facing developing countries.
