PAROLI Viola

Hello, my name is Viola and I am from Florence, Italy. I have always been interested in different cultures and people from all over the world, but my sincere interest in topics regarding the development economics and international cooperation area started after my participation at the MUN (Model United Nations) project. After that experience, on October 2014, I obtained a master degree in Philosophy at the Università degli Studi di Firenze with a final dissertation about the development of educational systems based on the capability approach theory. Furthermore I had some field experiences (I took part in a work camp in Cambodia, and I took even part in two more projects in my hometown, one dealing with immigrate children’s school issues and the other one dealing with African asylum seekers integration issues). Those experiences increased, day by day, my interest related to social problems and now I know that I need to gain more knowledge in order to have the possibility to build up a career in the International development and cooperation area. I hope and think that MESCI will be suitable for my future projects and expectations, first of all because I will have the chance to improve my knowledge in a wide range of economic subjects.
