I am Henry Jean Kamlaka and was born and brought up in Malawi. I got my Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree majoring in Economics from the University of Malawi-Chancellor College in 1998. I have vast working experience with both private and public institutions. I am currently working as a Principal Budget Officer in the Ministry of Finance-Budget Department. I decided to join MESCI so that I can gain more understanding of the opportunities and challenges of Development Economic and International Cooperation policies in the Developed Countries Visa –Vis policies of Developing Countries. I believe this will assist me to champion the integration of policies of the developed countries with those of my country. I also believe that MESCI will further develop my research and analytical skills which are central to formulation of quality public policy in Government.
