Bridging Skills for Sustainable, Ecological and Digital Transformation

Alumni 2011/2012

DI FILIPPO Daniela

I'm 25 and I come from Trani (Puglia), a town by the sea in the south of Italy. I graduated in Economics (second level degree) at the University of Bologna. In 2009 I did an internship at a financial company, Compass spa. This experience helped me to understand the real difficulties of poor people to gain access credit and to return it. In this way I discovered a strong and deep interest in microcredit. In fact the title of my thesis was "Microcredit and Microfinance: theoretical considerations and empirical simulations" and my advisor was Professor Stefano Zamagni. I chose to apply for this master because I’m very interested in this subject and I would like learn more about economic development and international cooperation in order to apply this knowledge in the workplace. I also speak a little bit of French and during my university studies I often worked part-time at the University of Bologna as a librarian and assistant computer room.
